Overpriced!!! Silver queen? I think not! The ears that weren't half rotten were tasteless. The tomatoes were also very bland. $12 for a small watermelon? No thanks. This was the second time trying them. Will not be back. You are an owner who cant take criticism at all lol. Places I love ii keep returning, places that cheat people out of good hard earned money deserve to be reviewed appropriately. Most of your reviews are family and friends. But you do you. I found awesome corn, tomatoes and such at the Farmer's market in Huntington.

My mother, husband and I went today looking for a specific tree. My husband asked the woman up front for help. She had an attitude and was not very welcoming at all. Afterwards my disabled mom drove slightly forward to look for somebody else to help and she saw a guy from a far distance turned to the side. She asked if he worked there. He walked all the way up to the car and said “no I don’t work here” he then proceeded to take his sunglasses off in a rude manner and said in a very harsh tone “can’t you see my shirt?!” When he was first asked he was turned to the side and the logo wasn’t visible. My only response to him was “wow that was rude”. I don’t know what he went and told the woman up front, but she came running at my mom’s car saying “we don’t act like that” “you can’t pull up in there!” and telling her to leave. The spot she pulled into was quite wide and pure gravel. There were no signs indicating to not do that. My mom was backing up to leave and this lady FOLLOWED HER to continue yelling at my mother. My mom was literally just trying to leave and in tears. I will no longer be doing business here and have now found Kim’s greenhouse in Milton, way healthier plants, v

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a great experience at Floyd’s Nursery! I went in with a list and a mission—FERNS 🌿 (which sounds simple until you start looking at all the different kinds 😅). Everything I needed was there, and they had an amazing selection. The service was spectacular. I was asked multiple times if I needed help, they guided me in the right direction, and even helped escort everything out to my vehicle when I checked out. It was just an all-around wonderful experience… and the fact that I live 2 minutes away could be very dangerous for my husband 😂 Highly recommend Floyd’s Nursery!

🌹🍑Floyd’s: Where Quality, Community, and Freshness Bloom 🍉🌻 In 2025, Floyd's has become my absolute go-to, the top place I shop. I have shopped more at Floyd's over the past few years, and this year they have sealed the deal, won my loyalty, and earned my business. An extraordinary team stands behind this organization. The owner not only invests monetarily, but with warmth and true interest in the community. Every single staff member I have interacted with is friendly, knowledgeable, and more than eager to help. All that I have bought—from the flowers for my beds to the gorgeous blooms that light up my summer—has thrived in a way that surpasses my wildest expectations. And the produce? Top-notch. Fresh and TASTY. I always find some small treasure when I go in, something I didn't know I needed and couldn't turn back to my old life without. Floyd's is more than just a shop; it is a pillar of the community that makes Barboursville better. If you have yet to visit, cease your reading and go. It will not take long before you grasp why this establishment has a following as devoted as it is. Don’t forget to give Charlie the retriever a little love when you visit!
